Responsibilities
- Completed show turnarounds and technical presets.
- Supported troubleshooting, essential maintenance and cleaning.
- Carried out opening and closing procedures.
- Supported fire safety and the safe handling and storage of prop weapons.
- Operated lighting and sound for an evening stand-up comedy show.
- Updated show reports and technical paperwork.
Training
Venue training included general crew practice, lighting for busking, video cables and troubleshooting, introductory lighting and a rigging workshop.
In practice
The work involved frequent turnarounds, changing technical requirements and clear communication within a busy festival schedule.
